Fixes and improvements

General

Addressed a Modbus TCP driver issue that could lead to 19037 (transaction mismatch) errors, improving long-term stability and communication reliability.
Variable Substitutions in button captions now refresh correctly after switching from Offline to Online, even when the Variable Substitutions points to an unchanged User Variable, ensuring the displayed values are always in sync.
New Feature: The Batch Demo has been updated with the new Pre-Plot functionality.

Bar Charts

New Feature: Users can now quickly copy Bar Chart attributes to other Bar Charts. Read more here.

Data Logging

New Feature: Up and Down buttons have been added to the Log Report Format box. Read more here.
New Feature: Pre-Plot functionality is now available, letting users preview and validate data before running batches for faster insights and more confident analysis. Read more here.

GDW

Fixed an issue in the 64-bit version where setting a button’s color incorrectly displayed the M12390 Color Dynamics warning despite the color being successfully applied.
Line thickness settings are now correctly saved, ensuring they are preserved when the SpecView screen is closed and reopened.

Recipes

It is now possible to download values to read-only variables in Recipe. Read more here.

Strategy Controller & Button Attributes

Fixed an issue where Strategy invoked Recipe downloads continued after an error instead of stopping.
Corrected a potential crash condition where entering Edit Mode (Offline) while using Strategy Controller Actions / Button Attributes CopyFrom … To or Math Functions could sometimes cause SpecView to unexpectedly crash.
Fixed a rounding issue where the Strategy [List] button exported events and actions to CSV with only one decimal place, causing values like 0.05 to display as 0.1 in comparisons.
Strategy Controller box positions can now be reset in Preferences. Read more here.
New Feature: Users can now configure SpecView to automatically abort a Strategy invoked Recipe download after the first error, rather than displaying a warning and requiring user input. Read more here.
New Feature: Python integration is now available to users, providing enhanced automation capabilities, greater scripting flexibility, which can streamline the number of Strategy events required. Read more here.

Trend Charts

Users can now reset the position of the Trend Chart Properties box through Preferences. Read more here.

Web Server

New Feature: SpecView's Web Server now supports limited interaction. Read more here.
