FAQ - Can SpecView send eMail or SMS Text Messages when an event happens?

Yes - SpecView’s Strategy Controller can be used to determine when an event occurs, and the Action taken can be to run an External Program to send the message.

For eMails, we recommend the SWITHMAIL program, which can be found on their website here

For SMS Texts we recommend “2sms”, website: 2sms.com
