SpecView has three modes of operation:  Runtime Mode, Edit Mode (go offline) and Edit Mode (remain online).

 

 

Runtime Mode is also referred to as On-Line, this is SpecView's normal mode of operation - SpecView is communicating with the connected instruments.

When in Edit Mode use the Enter Runtime Mode menu command from the File menu or the tool to return to Runtime Mode.
