Items in the Variables List can be searched for (Find) or substituted (Replace).
This is useful when a large number of items need to be found and/or renamed.
Find:
Results replace selection - unselects any items that are currently selected and instead selects the items that were found.
Add results to selection - keeps the currently selected items and adds the items that were found to the selection.
Replace:
Note that the 'In Address' check-box can only be checked when SpecView is offline. This is because it is not possible to change the address of an instrument while SpecView is actively communicating with it.
To switch to 'Offline' choose 'Disable All (fully offline)' from the Online Features menu.
