This allows one project to be imported into another, possibly creating duplicates objects/screens in the process.
Duplicates can be handled by adding a prefix/suffix at the time of import, or by deleting the unwanted duplicates after the import.
This is useful for example; if there is a project with one furnace defined, with its associated Strategy. Then a project with any number of furnaces can be created by repeatedly importing the single furnace project the required number of times.
Another scenario could be that there is an elaborate screen layout in another project that needs to be added to an existing project.
To import a project open one of the projects in Edit Mode (Offline). From the File menu choose Import Project and browse to the project's CONFIG.CF3
A prefix or suffix can be added so that any duplicates are uniquely named.
The import process will automatically make a backup of the project.
The resultant project will contain everything from both projects: Variables, Screens (GDWs) and Strategy.
However, no log files from the imported project will be included.
