E12314 ERROR: ActiveX environment is not setup:

 

 

This error will occur if SpecView wasn’t installed by a user with ‘Administrator’ privileges on this computer  which would have prevented the Registry from being setup for SpecView to run correctly.

This error will cause SpecView to exit. It will be necessary to run SpecView as an Administrator once. After that you just run it as a standard user.

 

 

E12313 ERROR: ActiveX controls cannot be registered or unregistered because you are not running as an Administrator:

 

 

This error will be seen when trying to register or unregister a control when not running SpecView as an Administrator. It is necessary for SpecView to update the Windows Registry during this process, which requires Administrator privileges.

 

 

E12315 ERROR: ActiveX controls cannot be registered because you are not running as an Administrator:

 

 

This error will be seen when trying to restore a project which contains ActiveX controls which need to be registered  when not running SpecView as an Administrator. It is necessary for SpecView to update the Windows Registry during this process which requires Administrator privileges.
