Use the Line menu item from the Draw Menu OR click the Line tool 
on the toolbar.
Go to Drawing Basics for general instructions
The cursor changes to 
Click and hold the left mouse button, then drag the line to the desired length and direction. Click the right mouse button when you have drawn all the objects you want.
Press and hold the shift key to snap the line to the nearest multiple of 15 degree angles
Use the Ctrl Copy feature to make exact copies of the object
Double-Click the object to edit the Shape Properties
