Old Version 2/2.5 charts can be converted by just clicking to open the Trend Chart Properties box and choosing the method of conversion:

 

 

To quickly convert many charts setup the first one as required, then click the Save settings as default for new charts button.

When the others are converted it will use those defaults saving setup time.

 

Note: That it is not possible to convert a chart back to Version 2 or 2.5 format from Version 3.
