Note: Driver defaults to 8 Databits, No Parity, 1 Stop Bit

 

 

Format is:

 AACC  when talking directly to a PCP or:

 PPAACC  when talking through an Operator Panel

Where:

AA:        Two digit address of controller in decimal, as set by rotary switch on PCP module, range is 00 to 15 (according to 0-F on switch)

CC:        Channel number of desired channel (See note below)

PP:        Two digit address of operator panel in decimal, as set by panel setup screens, range is 00 to 31.

 

 

Examples:

0001                - PCP 00, Channel 1

1513                - PCP 15 (rotary F), Channel 13

010203        - Panel 01, PCP 02, Channel 3

 

Note that the channel number given above refers to the logical channel number of the desired channel and may NOT reflect the position of the channel inside the module, or of the module in the rack.
