Updating (Definition: Getting a new version of the software):

 

SpecView software is under constant development for improvements, new features and functionality.

 

To benefit from this it is necessary to download a more up-to-date version of the software. This process is not possible if the Update Subscription has expired.

The expiry date can be checked by looking at the Help menu:

 

 

 

If the Update Subscription is current, then to update the software, visit the SpecView website (www.specview.com) and download the Setup file saving it to the computer. Run the Setup file and it will automatically update to the current version.

 

However, if the Update Subscription has expired, then a new Subscription must be purchased to allow the new version to be installed. Please contact a SpecView representative.
