To auto-detect additional instruments to add to an existing project use Test Comms for Update.

 

 

 

This will find any additional instrumentation that has been connected since the original project was created and add the instrument definitions to the Variables List.

 

It searches for all instruments connected then compares this information with what is already defined in the project and will warn of any conflicts, such as where instrument types have changed at a given address.
