Both USB license dongles and soft licenses can be in "Evaluation Mode". In this mode SpecView has full functionality but will revert to Demo Mode once the evaluation period has expired. This mode is typically used for new users who wish to evaluate SpecView on the actual application.

 

 

The expiry date can be seen on the Dongle Information box, which is displayed by choosing Registration Info from the Help menu.

 

 

This expiry date can be changed or removed by upgrading the license.
